Extended GHRH analogue — the perfect stack partner for Ipamorelin.
CJC-1295 is a GHRH (growth-hormone-releasing hormone) analogue — it stimulates the pituitary to make and release more of your own growth hormone. It is the GHRH half of the popular GHRH + GHRP stack.
An important distinction: CJC-1295 comes in two forms. Without DAC (also called Mod-GRF 1-29) is short-acting and produces clean, pulse-like GH release, ideal for pairing with Ipamorelin. With DAC adds a drug-affinity complex that binds albumin and extends the half-life to about a week, raising GH and IGF-1 more continuously — a different, more sustained effect.
On its own it raises baseline GH/IGF-1; combined with a GHRP it produces a synergistic pulse far larger than either compound alone, which is why the two are almost always used together.
Raises endogenous GH and IGF-1 for recovery, body composition and sleep.
GHRH activity well established; the DAC version raises IGF-1 measurably in studies
Supports tissue repair and gradual recomposition, especially with a GHRP.
Mechanistically sound; outcomes are gradual
Higher nocturnal GH supports deeper sleep and longevity-minded goals.
Reasonable physiology; long-term data limited
We rate every peptide honestly across four dimensions — and tell you what it's not.
Evidence Profile
A GHRH analogue with documented ability to raise GH/IGF-1 in humans; downstream benefits are less firmly established.
Promising but early. Strong animal data and/or small/preliminary human studies, not yet confirmed in robust trials.
Controlled trials & clinical data in people
Human studies show sustained GH and IGF-1 increases (esp. DAC form).
Preclinical results in animal models
Consistent GH-axis effects in animal models.
How plausibly it works at a biological level
Clear GHRH-receptor agonism extending GH half-life.
Depth of documented safety in humans
Short-term tolerability documented; long-term IGF-1 elevation warrants caution.
Men wanting to raise their own GH for recovery, sleep and slow recomposition
Pair with Ipamorelin (no-DAC for a pulse, DAC for steady elevation). Monitor IGF-1 on longer runs. Inject fasted.
Women seeking recovery, skin and anti-aging benefits from optimized GH
Well tolerated; no hormonal interactions reported. Choose no-DAC for a gentler, more natural pulse. Avoid in pregnancy.

Often eases as you adjust; lower the dose if bothersome.
A carpal-tunnel-like effect from fluid shifts — reduce dose if it persists.
Plan meals around dosing; more pronounced with GHRP-6/GHRP-2.
Dose before bed; lower the dose if daytime grogginess occurs.
Monitor fasting glucose and HbA1c; especially relevant if pre-diabetic.
