Before reconstitution

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide powder is stable for months to years in the freezer and weeks to months refrigerated, kept dry and away from light.

After reconstitution

Once mixed with bacteriostatic water, most peptides are generally considered stable for about 28 days refrigerated at 2–8°C.

Always reconstitute gently — direct the water down the vial wall and swirl, never shake. Shaking can denature the peptide.

  • Store upright in the fridge, away from the freezer section and light
  • Label every vial with the reconstitution date and concentration
  • Inspect before each use — discard if cloudy, discolored, or full of particles
  • Do not freeze reconstituted (already-mixed) peptides

Track it automatically

Use the Vial Inventory tracker to log your reconstitution date — it computes doses remaining and your 28-day expiry, and flags vials that are expiring soon.
